We know that the instructor can make a huge difference when it comes to learning how to swim. Our instructors go through a selective hiring process and we always require them to have previous swim experience.
Keiley was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. She was a multi-sport athlete growing up and currently runs track at Arizona State University. Keiley has a passion for general health and fitness for younger kids as well as adults and loves to see others succeed. She’s an outgoing, passionate, and focused individual! Keiley used to swim for the City of Yuma at Marcus Pool and always loved it so she’d love to help you or your child do the same!
Alyssa grew up in Yuma and has been swimming all her life. Since her parents first took her to the beach, she knew the water is where she belonged. Her first job was as a lifeguard in the Phoenix area before becoming a swim instructor. She has experience with swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
Mallory has been swimming ever since she could remember, especially when growing up in Yuma. She has worked with the City of Yuma as both a lifeguard and swim instructor for seven summers and has taught all ages.
Briana was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. She is 20 years old and has been swimming since she was just three years old. Briana joined the swim team in high school, which helped her get her first job at the City of Yuma as a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor. She has experience teaching Toddler & Me classes through all ages including adults.
Jackie is a native Yuman and founder of Yuma Mobile Swim. Each summer during her undergraduate studies she had the opportunity to return home to lifeguard and teach swim lessons for public city pools in Yuma. Jackie cherished this time to teach water safety to children and their families. Jackie has been teaching water safety for the last 10 years.
